Four main characters from the Bible who passed their hard tests before becoming great:

Moses

Moses was chosen by God to free his people from slavery. He had a speech impairment, but his first assignment was to speak to Pharaoh. He was to be the leader of a people who never accepted him as one of their own.

Samuel

Samuel was called by God at a very young age while serving at the temple with prophet Eli. His first assignment was to tell Eli, the man who helped raise him, that he is going to lose his two sons and his legacy because of his leniency toward their sins.

David

David was chosen by God to be King, but he was still a shepherd boy after being anointed. One day while bringing food to his brother at the camp he accepted his first assignment. He killed the giant that every soldier was afraid of.

Esther

Esther was an orphan chosen to be Queen. Her first assignment came when she had to show up to court uninvited, risking death in order to save her people. She had to wine and dine with her most ruthless enemy before outing him to the King.

And Then You…

You were chosen by God to be the light of this world. God has revealed to you the hard decision that you must make in order to start shining and impact lives for his glory and kingdom. He has revealed to you the barriers and sins keeping you from your purpose. He has even shown the way out.
