Sometimes you have trouble taking orders from other people not because you are defiant, but because you were created to lead instead of being led. You were never meant to be a follower. However, burning bridges is not the way to step into your purpose either.
Here are 5 things you can do when you have trouble being led:
1- Submit to God and you will have clarity on the people you should never take orders from.
Psalms 1:1
2- Prayer-journal about the people you find most irritating because they may be revealing something about your own character.
James 5:16
3- Ask God to show you the end game or what you are being trained for. It’s easier to follow orders when you know it’s temporary.
Jeremiah 29:11
4- Keep working on your talent because it is part of your exit strategy. Your calling is connected to the things you already have.
2 Peter 1:3
5- Step out of faith. God has already made provisions for you to have everything necessary to succeed. Follow your own path.
James 1:5
Above all, remember to embody the fruit of the spirit and be the difference wherever you go. Philippians 1:6 ❤️
