Your Prayer Life Matters: 3 Reminders to Go Deeper with God this Year

1. Prayer Transcends through Generations

Your prayer life extends beyond personal protection; it encompasses favor and safeguarding for your family and all connected to you. The enemy seeks opportunities in our moments of spiritual complacency, aiming to disrupt not just our lives but also those of our loved ones. Vigilant prayer acts as a shield against Attacks both visible and unseen.

You may be reaping the benefits of your great grandparents prayers. Just as your great grand children will benefit from your connection with God today. Choose to go deeper with God this year.

2. God Listens to Your Heart

God prioritizes the sincerity of our hearts over our external actions. Even when our behaviors falter, a genuine desire for repentance and improvement invites divine protection and guidance. Do not listen to the voice telling you it’s too late to repent or you’ve done it too many times to ask for forgiveness now. There’s no such thing as a « lost case Â» because the blood of Jesus granted you legal right to go to God no matter what the circumstances. As long as you desire change and you are really doing your best to do the right thing, God will step in and place his strength in your weakness.

3. You are at War Whether You Want it or Not

Whether acknowledged or not, we are engaged in a spiritual warfare. The Bible describes the devil as a prowling lion, seeking to devour. Neglecting our prayer life and spiritual disciplines empowers our enemy, making it imperative to remain equipped with the right spiritual weapons.

Your enemy doesn’t sleep. He rides around day and night waiting for a window of opportunity to kill, steal and destroy. Surrender to God and find rest under his protection.

Psalms 91

“For he will give his angels orders concerning you, to protect you in all your ways.

They will support you with their hands so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.

You will tread on the lion and the cobra; you will trample the young lion and the serpent.  «

The word of God is powerful and alive. Read Psalm 91 today and reflect on the divine access that is available to you, should you choose to accept the invitation to surrender your life to Christ.

Stay blessed 🦋
